Peggy Ann Walker Madden, 85, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2020. She was born April 5, 1935 in Jacinto, MS to the late William H. and Actie Vanderford Walker.

Ms. Madden was a resident of Clinton and member of Alta Woods Baptist Church in Jackson. She was a devoted nurse who loved caring for others. She worked at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson and later retired from the VA Nursing Home.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband, John S. Madden, Jr.

Ms. Madden is survived by her daughter, Deborah Madden of Madison, MS; son, John S. Madden, III and daughter-in-law, Kim Madden of Jackson, MS; grandson, John Walker of Atlanta, GA.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 from 11:00am - 2:00pm at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton. A Celebration of Ms. Madden's life will follow at 2:00PM.
