It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Paula K. Dunn, a beloved wife, mother, and friend, who left this world on August 19th at the age of 63. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, after a life full of love, kindness, and devotion to those she held dear.

Paula was born on September 27, 1960 in New Orleans. She dedicated most of her life to the education system and she retired as a special education assistant. She touched the life of many. She brought creativity and light to those around her.

She is survived by her husband, Rickey D Dunn, with whom she shared 43 years of marriage. Together, they built a home filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories. As a mother, she was the guiding light for her two daughters, Patricia Danielle and Elizabeth Diane, who were the pride and joy of her life. She taught them the importance of kindness, resilience, and how to stand on their own two feet.

Paula was known for her generosity, always putting others before herself. Whether she was offering a listening ear, a comforting word, or a helping hand, she made the lives of those around her brighter. Her warmth and compassion will be deeply missed, but her legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and all who knew her.

She leaves behind a family who will forever hold her memory close. Though our hearts are heavy, we find solace in the love she shared with us and the beautiful memories we created together. May she finally be at peace in the eternal library of our Lord.
