Michael Paul Younger, II went to be with our Lord and Savior on September 16, 2021. Visitation and service will be held at Madison United Methodist Church, Madison, MS on Monday, September 20, 2021. Visitation is from 1:00 to 3:00 pm with the service to follow at 3:00 pm. Burial at Jessamine Cemetery in Ridgeland, MS following the service.

He was born in Jackson, MS on February 23, 1983, to Susan Catledge Younger and Michael Younger. He graduated from New Summit High School in 2001. He met the love of his life, Lauren, in September 2003. He attended Mississippi State University, and in 2009 received a degree in Landscape Architecture. On July 18, 2009 he and Lauren married and continued their happy life together.

In 2012, he established Southern Crushed Concrete, a successful concrete and aggregate company that he built from the ground up.
He and Lauren have two beautiful children, Latham and Mary Michael. They both adored their Daddy and loved spending time with him. They enjoyed playing at home, swimming, visiting Daddy at work, riding the four-wheeler, and traveling.

He was a loving and devoted husband and father. He loved his family with all of his heart. His wife and two children were his whole world and he made sure they knew it each and every day. He always wrote sweet notes and called to say how much he loved everyone. He was always so full of life and energy.

He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Lauren Keenum Younger; their children, Latham Paul Younger and Mary Michael Younger; his mother Susan Catledge Younger; his sister Nicole McKenzie (Brad); his in-laws, Georganna and Bobby Keenum, brother-in-law, Bobby Keenum III; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Michael Younger; and grandparents Emma Dean and Ralph Catledge and Alma Jean and Paul Younger.
