Paul Carroll Cox, devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, brother and mentor, died December 31, 2021 after a prolonged battle with lung illness. A local entrepreneur, avid hunter, and coach, Paul was surrounded by his loving family as he passed peacefully at his home in Bolton, MS. His brilliant, energetic, and charming personality was beloved by his family, countless friends and business associates and, given his love for a good hunt, he is undoubtedly chasing big bucks in Heaven.

He is survived by his college sweetheart and wife of 47 years, Patsy; children Andrea Cox Champagne and husband Jason; Christina Cox; Patrick Cox and wife Jennifer; grandchildren Haven, Cade, Olivia, Charlotte, and Cooper; sister Susan Cox Phillips and husband George.
Visitation for Paul will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Wright and Ferguson in Clinton from 5:00pm to 7:00pm and on Friday, January 7th at Beulah Memorial Baptist Church from 10:00am to 11:00am with service following at 11:00am. Burial will be at the Cox Family Cemetery.
