Paul Boatner, 89, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at his home in Pearl. He was born in New Orleans, LA on June 3, 1930 to the late, Willis Brazil Boatner and Madie Boatner. He served in the U.S. Army for 23 years, serving in both the Korean & Vietnam War and retired as Master Sergeant. He continued his career for the next 20 years at the U.S. Postal service.

Mr. Boatner leaves behind his beloved wife of 64 years, Jackie Boatner; son, Strobel Paul Boatner and his wife, Sheila Jane Boatner; daughter, Madonna Elise Wright and her husband, Marty; daughter, Amanda Gail Capps; grandchildren, Nicole Sloan(Adam), Aaron Brown, Adrian Brown, and Jessup Boatner; and great-grandchild, Gabriel Sloan.

There will be a family graveside service on Monday, March 30, 2020 at Mississippi Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Newton.
