Patsy Sue Robertson (Thornton), age 73, of Terry, MS, received her wings Wednesday, October 30, 2024. A beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Sue will always be remembered for her kindness and love for her family and friends.

Born on April 15, 1951, in Pike County, MS, Sue grew up in the Smithdale community. On June 5, 1976, Sue married the love of her life, Fred Dixon Robertson, Jr. Together they built a life in Raymond, MS that lasted 45 years and yielded two children and two grandchildren. Sue was a former school teacher and spent most of her life as a stay at home mom.

Sue is survived by her son, Michael Toler Robertson (Stacie) of Brandon; her daughter, Anita Sue Robertson Buckles (Lee) of Meridian; her sister, Carlene McCaffrey of Spring, TX; her two brother-in-laws, Bill Robertson (Janie) Baton Rouge, LA and Lee Robertson (Kay) Madison, MS; her sister-in-law, Laura Robertson Upshur (Littleton) Melbourne, FL; her two grandchildren, Eion Robertson and Eliana Robertson; and her nieces, nephews and numerous cousins.

Sue was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Fred "Dick" Dixon Robertson, Jr., as well as her parents, Pat and Donnis Thornton.

Pallbearers are Michael Robertson, Bill Robertson, Lee Robertson, Lee Carson, Lee Buckles, Littleton Upshur, Daniel McCaffery and Benny Thornton.

Honorary pallbearers are Eion Robertson, Ed Carson, Ricky Robertson, Jason Robertson, Chris Robertson, Daniel Robertson, and Patrick McCaffrey.

Memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Raymond.
