Patrick O'Brien (Pat) Edwards of Pearl, MS passed away Sunday, March 16, 2025. He was born March 26,1942 in Jackson, MS and raised by his grandmother.  A graduate of Central High School in Jackson, Pat had a successful career as a salesman working for Borden, Colonial Bread, Little Debbie, and other companies.  In 1992, he married his beloved, Ann, and the two of them enjoyed many adventures together including traveling, fishing, camping trips, and countless games of cards with their group of family and friends.  Pat loved the Alabama Crimson Tide and enjoyed watching the team along with Grit TV.   As Pat's health declined, his wife along with his daughter, Becky Collins, and granddaughter, Amber Collins, cared for him along with the wonderful support of the staff at The Nichols Center in Madison, MS who became like family.

Pat is survived by his wife, Ann Edwards; daughters, Becky Collins (Pearl, MS), Tina Edwards (Clinton, MS), Donna Carr (Brandon, MS), Karen Seago (Madison, MS); brother, Dennis Edwards (Hattiesburg, MS); and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his son-in-law, Greg Collins.

Due to the chilly weather, services will be held today, Thursday, March 20, 2025, in the chapel at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home at 2pm. A private family burial will follow at  Floral Hills Cemetery in Pearl, MS.  The family requests that memorials be sent to Gateway Rescue Mission (P.O. Box 3763 Jackson, MS 39207) as this was an organization that Pat regularly supported.
