Patricia Horton Thornberry, 56, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2020. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, July 17, 2020 at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton, MS. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Brookhaven, MS.

Patricia was born on July 29, 1963 and grew up in Brookhaven, MS. She attended Calloway High School and Manhattan Academy. She earned an associate's degree in accounting from Draughan's Business College. She worked at Jitney Jungle and then in accounts receivable and payable with East Group Properties. Patricia loved her dogs, family and she loved to vacation in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil Horton and Alice McDavid Horton.

She is survived by her husband and soulmate, Matthew Thornberry; her children, Ramona Abraham, Richard Abraham and Christopher Massey; her four grandsons; her sister, Laura Horton; her brother, George Horton; three nieces; and four puppy dogs.

In light of COVID19, social distancing should be maintained, hugs and hand-shakes avoided, and the wearing of masks is encouraged.
