Patricia Louise Sturm, known to her loved ones as Pat, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2023, in Jackson, MS, at the age of 71. She was born on August 21, 1951, in Detroit, Michigan. Pat was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Patricia was a selfless, loving, and caring individual who dedicated her life to her family. She had a stubborn side but always found humor in any circumstance. Pat had a remarkable gift for storytelling and enjoyed sharing her experiences with others. Her stories brought joy and laughter to those who knew her. Her presence will be deeply missed and her memory cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Patricia is survived by her devoted husband, Gary Sturm, and their children Tracy Griffin and Joseph Sturm. She also leaves behind her loving son-in-law, Sean Griffin and daughter-in-law, Giselle Sturm, as well as her cherished grandchildren: Mandi Necaise, Leighann Spence, Rebecka Sanders, Joseph Sturm Jr., Abigail Griffin, Aiden Sturm, Allison Sturm, Tyler Moore, Lainey-Rae Necaise, Annaleigh Sanders, Myles Sanders, and Emilia Spence. Pat is also survived by her sisters Cathy Waun, Lucille Howard, and Marjorie Ferguson, and brothers Daniel Ferguson and Victor Ferguson.

She was preceded in death by her father, Hershel Ferguson, her mother, Alice Ferguson, and her siblings Linda Morris, Chris Newton, Gerald Ferguson, Raymond Ferguson, and Kenneth Ferguson.

The loss of Patricia Louise Sturm leaves a void in the hearts of her family and friends. Her legacy of love, kindness, and humor will live on in their memories. May she rest in peace.
