Patricia Ann Manning Ford, of Flora, MS, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on January 11, 2014 in Pocahontas, MS. Visitation will be held at Wright and Ferguson in Clinton on January 14 at 12 Noon till 2:00pm. Graveside services will be held at Flora Cemetery on January 14 at 2:30 with Reverend Donny Parker officiating. Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home are handling the funeral arrangements.
Patricia was born in Merigold, MS to F.C. and Virginia Manning on July 7, 1938. She graduated from Merigold High School, where she was a feisty guard on the basketball team. She proudly worked many years at Midstate Mortgage Company in Jackson and later established Lollipops Antiques in Flora. She also joined her husband in the operations of Flora Electrical Service. She enjoyed being in the sun, creating a beautiful flowery landscape for her home and spending leisure time at their cabin on Bea Lake.
Patricia is preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Ford Jr. and her mother, Virginia Gibson Manning. Patricia is survived by her Father, F.C. Manning of Merigold, MS. siblings, sisters, Carol Sue Manning, Shirley Manning Patterson Rex, Nancy Manning Dodd Howardand brother, Clark Gibson Manning Jackie son, John Scott Britt Cathy, daughters, Traci Britt Triplett Mikeand Carol Britt EldridgeKipp grandchildren, Edge Triplett, Chase Shoemaker, April Dunlap Peyton, Victoria Boyles Shane, Kelsey Britt and Dalton Britt greatgrandchildren, Britton Dunlap, Molly Chase Dunlap and Barron Triplett.
