Patricia Ann
Estel
September 30, 1952 – February 27, 2025
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Ann Estel on the 27th day of February, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on September 30,1952, she was the daughter of William Gerald and Jimmie Ruth Germany, whom she loved dearly.
Visitation for Pat will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Flowood from 12:30pm to 3:00pm with a funeral service beginning at 3:00pm. A private family graveside will follow.
Patricia "Pat" married the love of her life, Richard Albert Estel on July 2, 1971. She loved to recall the story of how she knew the very moment she first saw "Ric" that she would one day marry him. They spent 53 wonderful years together traveling, building a family, building a business and most importantly, building a legacy of love that will live on for generations.
Pat was an exceptional wife, mother, Nana, and friend who was tirelessly devoted to every member of her family. She was adored by all who were blessed to live under the shelter of her love and prayers. Above all else, she honored and loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She enjoyed going to ballgames, making each Christmas perfect, planning family vacations, and painting portraits of nature and her family members. Pat was known for her precious gentle spirit, thoughtfulness, kindness, selflessness, and unconditional love. To be such a shy and quiet-natured woman, she touched everyone she met in a way that only she could.
Pat is survived by husband, Rick Estel of Flowood; daughter, Trisha Estel Gilmore of Flowood; son Justin Estel and wife, Angela, of Flowood; grandsons Landon Estel, Gabriel (Gilmore) Estel, and Dawson Estel; granddaughter, Delena Grace Estel; brother, Glen Germany and wife, Kathy, of Madison; and sister, Joycell Owens, and husband, Glen, of Brandon.
Proverbs 31:10-12; 28 Who can find a virtuous and capable wife? She is more precious than rubies. Her husband can trust her, and she will greatly enrich his life. She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life. Her children arise, and call her blessed; her husband also, he praises her.
The Family would like to express their deep love and appreciation for all the nurses with Tradition Hospice and Pat's caregivers Liz James, Laverne Hicks, Teresa Cox, Calandra Cavett and Frieda Grisby for their special care during this difficult time.
