Patricia Barrett Austin, 90, passed away on January 27, 2024 at her daughter's home in Panama City, FL. Visitation for Pat will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024 at First Baptist Church in Flora, MS from 10:00am to 11:00am, followed by a service at 11:00am. Interment will be at the Flora Cemetery.

Pat was born and raised in South Jackson MS, then later settled in Flora, MS with her family.

She was a longtime supporter of her husband Sidney Austin and his works with the Masonic Lodge and Wahabi Shrine Temple. She had a love for fishing, working crossword puzzles, traveling in their motorhome and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Austin, of 69 years.

She is survived by her son, Sidney Herbert Austin III (Mary); daughters, Donna Lynne Austin and Julia Kaye Mobley (Frank). She is also survived by two grandchildren, Scott Mobley and Julia Thompson (Phillip), six great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana.
