Pamela Michelle Neese Pilgrim, who was a resident of Raymond, Mississippi, went to be with the Lord on November 13, 2017 after a brief illness. Pamela was born on February 6, 1972 in Montgomery, Alabama to Jack Lamar and Patricia Ann Neese. She moved to Maryland in the first grade, and later graduated from Randallstown High School in Baltimore County (class of 1991). Pam moved to Mississippi and continued her studies at Hinds Community College, receiving an
Associate's Degree in Graphic Design. After briefly working in the field, she returned to school and earned both a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Education from Mississippi College (Magna Cum Laude). Pamela worked as a Special Education teacher with the Jackson Public School
System and received "Teacher of the Year" honors while at Pecan Park Elementary School.
Pamela loved all her family and friends dearly, and always enjoyed time with her nieces and nephews. She was a talented artist who enjoyed drawing, and also loved playing games while on the computer or with people she adored. In later years, she took amazing care of her mother, but still managed to keep in touch with family and friends. She is known for her hugs, bright smile and loving personality.
Pamela attended Pentecostal churches her entire life, and enjoyed singing and teaching Sunday School throughout the years. While on this earth, she poured out an abundance of love on...family, friends, co-workers, classmates, students and strangers.
Pamela, youngest child of Jack and Patricia as well as youngest Neese grandchild, is survived by her mother, Patricia Ann Neese Welshans (Robert), brothers and sisters, Johnny Neese, Jackie Moody (Brooks), Stephen Neese (Kathy), Regina Gwathmey (Michael), brother-in-law, John Pohlhaus, nieces and nephews, Christopher (Kerri), MaryLynne (John), Jessica, Stephen (Stacey),
