Ola Luper Cupstid, 79, of Raymond, Mississippi, passed away peacefully at home on May 9, 2026, surrounded by her husband and two sons. 

Born on May 23, 1946, in Oma, Mississippi, Ola lived a life centered around faith, family, and making memories with the people she loved most. She retired from the State of Mississippi after many years of service. 

For 59 years, Ola shared a loving marriage with her husband, Billy Cupstid. Together, they built a life rooted in love, family, and traditions that will continue for generations to come. 

Ola found joy in the simple and meaningful things in life. She loved scrapbooking, cooking, gardening, taking pictures, and especially shopping for her grandchildren. Her family was the center of her world, and she treasured every family gathering. She had a special way of making every holiday feel magical and memorable for those around her. 

She is survived by her husband, Billy Cupstid of Raymond, Mississippi; her sons, Greggory Cupstid (Stacy) of Pearl, Mississippi, and Marcus Cupstid (Rhonia) of Gluckstadt, Mississippi; her grandchildren, Delia Miles (Ruben), Shelby Hennessy (Joseph), Isabela Christopher (Clayton), Max Cupstid, Cloeigh Cupstid, and Crosby Cupstid; and her great-grandchildren, Meredith Miles, Ridge Miles, Hawk Hennessy, and Annie Hennessy. 

She is also survived by her brother, Lavell Luper, and her sister, Doris Diamond. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Percy and Clara Mae Luper, and her sister, Betty Stanley. 

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home, 201 Hinds Blvd., Raymond, Mississippi.
