Natausha Yelverton Oakes, 38, passed away on November 29, 2022. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, December 5, 2022 at the Raymond Cemetery in Raymond, MS.

Natausha was born on August 22, 1984 in Jackson, MS. She graduated from Forest Hill High School in 2002 and attended Hinds Community College in 2003, where she worked as an RA. Her daughter, Aubrey Oakes was born in 2004. She began working in the Multi Family Industry in 2005, in Ridgeland, MS. In 2007, Natausha took a promotion, relocating her to Birmingham, AL. Natausha worked her way up to the role of Senior Community Manager, where she enjoyed leading her teams and training them to be successful. Natausha received numerous awards for outstanding performance as a Senior Community Manager. She enjoyed the outdoors, going to the beach and she loved being with her family and friends.

Natausha was preceded in death by her grandparents, Linda and John "Papa John" Sones: her uncle, Derek Keith.

She is survived by her daughter, Aubrey Oakes; her parents, Michele and Chris Perry; her brother, J.T. Yelverton; her aunts, Lorinda Tomlinson, Denise Sullivan and Shauna Whiteside; and numerous cousins.
