Nancy Elizabeth Helms Oberhausen, 80, of Raymond, MS,
passed away from this life on July 17, 2021 at home where she was being cared for by her beloved husband of 60 years, Marvin Thomas Oberhausen. A special thank you to Home Instead and Hospice Ministries who were wonderful in providing care and support during this time.
Nancy was born on June 22, 1941 in Atlanta, Georgia.
Nancy was born and raised in Atlanta and attended Fulton High School where upon graduation she met her future husband, former classmate, Marvin Oberhausen.

Nancy was a loyal, strong, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, eating out, traveling and fishing but most of all spending time with family. Through the years she stayed busy taking her children to sporting events, rarely missing an event. She was definitely their biggest fan. Nancy retired from Hinds County and upon retirement, many heard her answering the phone at Obies Chevron. She worked hard supporting her husband who owned several service stations through the years. She later became an incredible "Mimi" who loved cooking her grandchildren their favorite foods, taking them on golf cart rides and even picking them up from school knowing they were just trying to "play hooky". She was extremely proud of each one of them.

She was preceded in death by her parents Calvin Wilson and Willie Mae Austin Helms and her brothers James and Jerry Helms.
Survivors include: husband Marvin Oberhausen of Raymond, MS; daughter Nancy "Missy" Ainsworth and her husband Ross of Brandon, MS; sons Brian Oberhausen of Birmingham, AL and Tommy Oberhausen and his wife Lisa of Madison, MS; grandchildren include Morgan Oberhausen, Ashley Oberhausen, Katie Magee, Mitch Magee, Thomas Oberhausen, Dillon Oberhausen; great-grandchild Ledger Steverson.
Pallbearers: Chad Bath, Mitch Magee, Thomas Oberhausen, Dillon Oberhausen, Chris Steverson, and Alex Wilkinson.
Visitation will be held at Wright & Ferguson in Raymond, MS on Wednesday July 21st from 5:00pm to 7:00pm and a service will be held at Wright & Ferguson on Thursday July 22nd at 10:00am with burial to follow at the Raymond cemetery,
