Nancy Elizabeth Ford, beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away on October 30th, 2023, in Jackson, MS. Nancy was born on January 17th, 1953, in Taylorsville, MS. She touched the lives of many with her generosity, thoughtfulness, and her passion for entertaining and fine cooking.

Nancy began her professional journey as a registered nurse and later pursued a business degree. She excelled in her career as a nursing administrator. Throughout her life, she resided in various states, including Louisiana, Florida, Missouri, and Minnesota. In 2002, she returned to her roots in Mississippi to be closer with her family.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Nancy was a life master bridge player and found immense joy in playing bridge with her friends and fellow league members. Her connection with her daughter, Carrie Moses and two grandchildren, Jacoby and Savannah Roth, was strong. She cherished her annual visits to California to spend time with them and they adored their Mimi.

Nancy valued the bonds of family and maintained close relationships with her sisters, Marilyn Naron (Charles Naron) and Emily Evans (Mac Evans). She also shared a deep bond with her late brother, John Dale Ford (Bobbi Ford), who passed away in 2019. Nancy leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories in the hearts of her family, including her nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

Nancy was preceded in death by her loving parents, Dale and Bonnie Ford. She will be remembered for her warm spirit, culinary talents, and her dedication to helping others as an organ donor.

Her memorial service will be held at 11:30am on Friday, November 3rd 2023 at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Flowood, MS. Visitation will begin at 11am. In lieu of flowers friends and family are invited to donate to MORA (the Mississippi Organ Retrieval Association) or PBS (Public Broadcasting Service).
