Montra H. Wooten, 91, passed away on August 19, 2018 at Baptist Hospital, Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Raymond from 10:00am to 11:00am with a Funeral Service following at 11:00am. Graveside service will be held at Strong Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Wesson, MS.
Montra was born in Akron, Ohio on February 25, 1927 to Nell and Claude Alderidice. She was a member of Raymond Baptist Church, a member of the Fidelis Sunday School Class, a charter member and former president of the Raymond Garden Club, a member of the Iris flower club and member of the MS Cattleman's Association. She worked at Carter's Jewelry and retired from McKee and McRae.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Danna Harris, her mother and father and her two brothers.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years O.F. Sunny Wooten.
