Monica Rebecca Rossmanith (Versteegh, Edwards), also known as Moni, passed away on 14 April 2024, in Clinton, Mississippi, USA, at the age of 60.

Moni was born 29 July1963 in Carlton, Victoria, Australia. She was the third born of four, with two older brothers (Mark and Patrick) and a younger sister (Rachel). When Monica was 8, her mother passed away overnight.

At 14 she ran away from home, with Denise who was her best friend, she would stay in school and graduate high school. She would then marry Glen Edwards and have two sons Aaron and Brett.

After she was divorced from Glen she met Ronald Cooper and had twins Boys Mitchell and Lucas. At the age of 47 in 2010 she came to Duluth GA USA with her son Mitchell to meet and then marry Mark Rossmanith whom she would share her life with until her death after they moved to Clinton MS USA. Love you Moni.

Monica is survived by her husband, Mark Rossmanith, sons Aaron Edwards, Brett Edwards, Mitchell Cooper, and Lucas Cooper, sister Rachel, and brother Patrick. She was preceded in death by her mother, Hendrikje Johanna Versteegh, father Peter Versteegh, and brother Mark Versteegh.

Monica worked for Gwinnett County Schools as a Custodian and was passionate about her job. In her free time, she loved animals, particularly horses.

She was an immigrant who chased the American dream with her son, Mitchell. He couldn't have done it without her and continue to make her proud. I love you, mum.
