John "Mitchell" Cloninger, 50, passed away Monday, October 21, 2019 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2019 from 5pm – 7pm at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Flowood. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Friday,
October 25, 2019 in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Mitchell was born October 30, 1968 to Marie Adcock Cloninger and Johnny Cloninger. He graduated from Pearl High School, was a member of First Baptist Church, Pearl. Mitchell's world revolved around his children. He loved hunting, fishing, being outdoors and just being with his children and family. He also worked hard for his family and was the proud owner of Cloninger Trucking.
Mitchell is preceded in death by his grandparents, Luther and Gladys Adcock & Otis and Alice Cloninger; sister, Vicky Jo Roberts; and granddaughter, Aliah Cornejo.
He is survived by his wife, Pam Cloninger; children, Magen Welch; Collin Cloninger, Hayden Cloninger, Robyn Dixon, Ryan Shelton, Danielle Bailey, McKenzie Bell and Cameron Bell; grandchildren, Dusty Adcock and Austin Dixon, Rylan Welch, Laney Welch, Kailee "K.K." Cornejo and Abram Cornejo, Ryleigh Shelton and David Shelton; father, Johnny Cloninger; mother and 2nd father, Marie and Bennie "Pops" Roberts; sister, Janice Creighton (Mike); brother, Alan Cloninger (Nikki); sisters, Stacy Rodriguez (Earnest), Tammy Chustz (Jimmy) and Beverly Nipples (Kenny); numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
