Mischa "Missy" Alley May McCain, age 55, of Edwards, Mississippi passed away suddenly on Friday, June 11, 2021, at Merit Health River Region Hospital in Vicksburg, MS.

Missy was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She had a zest for life. She loved the outdoors and had a knack for gardening. Missy was quite talented in doing crafts and putting her special touch on all gifts she gave you. Missy also loved animals and gave a home to any stray that might happen to show up at her home.

Missy is survived by her husband, Michael McCain; mother, Norma Jean Alley; two daughters, Robi Lamb (Clint) and Skyla May; and one son, Bradford "Buddy" Hernandez; and five grandchildren; Colton, Braelyn, Rivers, Caston, and Crosson, and a new grandbaby expected soon. Missy is also survived by one sister, Alisa Alley Smith (Ernie) of Brandon; her mother-in-law, Shirley Newell of Flowood; and sister-in-law, Lisa Odom (Brooks) of Brentwood, TN.

She is preceded in death by her father, Thurman Eugene Alley; stepmother, Nancy Lay Alley; and sisters, Patricia Lynn Alley and Robin Alley Rogers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to CARA, or any animal rescue organization of your choice.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Flowood. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
