Mildred Ann Hammack Herskind, 79, passed away on January 26, 2022 in Clinton, MS. She was born in Canton, MS on March 12, 1942. She graduated from Clinton High School and moved to Houston, TX to become a cosmetologist. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Clinton.

Ms. Herskind was preceded in death by her parents, Vera and Robert Hammack; two sisters, Mary Catherine Hammack and Alice Koger.

She is survived by her siblings, William Clive Hammack (Donnie) of Richland, Opal Lucille Wilson of Florence and Robert Andrew Hammack (Patsy) of Flora; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 31, 2022 at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Graveside services will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson.
