Michael Ray Owens affectionately known as "Big Mike" Passed away on January 26, 2025, in Jackson, Mississippi. He was born on April 13, 1949, in Greenville, Mississippi, to the late Nita and Leo Owens.

Mike spent his life in Mississippi, where he was a beloved presence in both Greenville and Jackson. Known for his larger than life, personality and warm spirit, he touched the lives of many who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is survived by his wife, Twanda Owens, his son Michael Owens and daughter April Welch, his brother James Owens, and his sister Elizabeth Campbell. Mike was a proud grandfather to three Grandchildren and a great grandfather to one great grandson.

Mike's legacy lives on through the Love and memories shared by his family and friends.  May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
