Maudie Edwards Mosley, 88, passed away at St. Dominic Hospital on January 8, 2016. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2016 from 4-6 PM at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 11, 2016 at 2:00 PM with a visitation starting at noon at Wright and Ferguson.
Mrs. Mosley was born on April 6, 1927 in Harrisville, MS. She was married to George H. Mosley, Sr. for 49 years. She worked as an operator for Bellsouth and retired after 35 years. After she retired, she continued to work another 30 years as a bookkeeper for Clinton Body Shop. She was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America. She was a devout Baptist, an avid gardener, and a doll collector. She enjoyed spending her time with her family.
Mrs. Mosley was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Mosley, Sr.; her sons, George H. Mosley, Jr., Jerry Carl Mosley, Sr. and Gerry Lewis Mosley I; great granddaughter, Ryleigh Marie Hawkins; son-in-law, Jerry Loggans; brother, John E. Edwards; sister, Margaret Baldridge.
Mrs. Mosley is survived by her children, John E. Mosley (Carolyn), Terrell Mosley, Sherrell Lewis (Scott), and Steve Mosley (Kim) all of Clinton; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
