Mattie Jeanette Saab, 92, passed away on August 5, 2022 at The University of MS Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation for Jeanette will be held at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton, MS on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from 5:00pm to 6:00pm, followed by a Memorial Service.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband George Saab, granddaughter Molly Brunson McAlpin (Carey), sister Christine Horton and brother Tommy Muirhead.
She is survived by one brother, Allen Muirhead; her four daughters Georgette Miller (Bill), Vivian Brunson (David), Judy Gallegos and Donna Furlow (Scooter); 10 grandchildren Shayne Weems, Gina Leach (Bruce), Chad Brunson (Faison), Sara Carmean (Dustin), Jennifer Myers (Eric), Adam Hays, Michael Furlow (Brittany), Kyle Furlow, Lauren Furlow, Zachary Furlow and 16 great grandchildren.
Jeanette was born on December 16, 1929 in Goodman, MS to Ernest and Allie Muirhead. After graduating from Canton High School she married George Saab on July 20, 1947 and they began their wonderful life together. In Years past Jeanette was involved in the Home Demonstration Club, Jackson Garden Club, the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary and was a member of Holy Savior Catholic Church. She was always on the go and never missed her beauty shop appointment. She enjoyed getting dressed up to go just about anywhere especially out to eat but her favorite place to go was the casino. She always enjoyed the outdoors and loved being with her family and spending time with them. Jeanette was a wonderful homemaker, mother, grandmother and friend to so many and she was loved by all.
The family is forever grateful for the wonderful care and love Jeanette received during the many happy years she spent living with her granddaughter Jennifer Myers and her family.

Out of love Jeanette donated her body to The University of MS Medical Center for education, research and healthcare.
