Mary Susan Womack, age 87, of Clinton, Mississippi, was called to her heavenly home on July 19th, 2025 at her residence.

Susan was born March 16, 1938, to Mary & William Rodgers in Jackson, Mississippi. In 1955 she met the love of her life, Bobby G. Womack, also from Jackson. They married two years later on May 9, 1957, and had four daughters.

Susan was a secretary at Eastside Elementary School in Clinton for many wonderful years. She had a love and a talent for making crafts and drawing. She was an avid reader.

She is proceeded in death by her parents and a daughter, Brenda Womack, sisters, Billie Melton, Jean Sutton, and brother, John Rodgers.

She is survived by her husband of sixty-eight years, Bobby G. Womack, daughters Beverly Perry, Cynthia Dessommes, and Cheryl Womack, brother, Will Rodgers, four granddaughters, one great grandson, and two dog "children."
