Mary Frances McGowan, 95, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2022 at St. Dominic's Hospital, Jackson, MS. She was one of nine children and loved each of her siblings dearly. Along with her parents Andrew and Mamie Shirley they preceded her in death.

She leaves four children whom she cared for with utmost devotion and love. Daughter, Amaryles Simmons, Hattiesburg, MS, son, Danny Hankins and wife, Miriam, Gadsden, AL., son Ramey Hankins and wife, Jan, Brandon, MS, and daughter, Jan Aycock, Memphis , TN, ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to express their love and appreciation to the nurses, Sarah, McKayla, and Elizabeth, in the intensive care unit at St. Dominic's Hospital for their professionalism in the call to nursing. Their heartfelt sincere care and their devotion to her while she was there.

There will be a private family only graveside service soon.
