Mary Wells Brock Martin passed away Wednesday, Nov 8, 2023 at Riggs Manor Dementia Unit in Raymond.  Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1 pm, Chapel Service at 1 pm followed by a family graveside service at Lakewood South Cemetery.

Mary was born in Hinds Co. and educated in Raymond schools.  She lived in Hinds Co for the majority of her life.  She spent 37 years with Home Interiors and then, entered the construction and real estate business with Mary Brock and Assoc. until retiring.  In addition to her passion for her work, she enjoyed the sport of fox hunting as a fellow hunter, judge, and operating the Dry Grove Fox Hunting Pen.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Pearl Wells, brother, Cliff Wells, sister, Ann Wells, husbands Talmadge Brock and Homer Martin, son in law, Tim Loper, and grandson, Michael Barnett, Jr.  She is survived by children, Lisa Loper, Eddie Barnett (Susan), and Mike Barnett (Sharon), grandchildren Matt Loper, Grace Barnett, Caleb Honea, and Patrica Barnett.  And step-daughter, Tammy Lewis (Vince), and children, Faith, Ashley, and Nathan.  She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
