Obituary

Mary Estelle Biedenharn Majors died peacefully on December 29, 2024 at the age of 71. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Wright & Ferguson in Clinton. The funeral will be held on Monday, January 6, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Clinton Methodist Church (previously First United Methodist Church of Clinton). The burial will be at Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson following the service.

Mary was born on July 13, 1953, in Vicksburg, MS. Mary was a 1971 graduate of Clinton High School and completed Dental Hygiene School at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She married her high school sweetheart and together they built a life in Clinton, Mississippi where they raised their three sons. Mary and Penn also opened Arrow Printers in 1977 and grew it into a thriving family business which is still run by their sons today.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, James (Jim) Biedenharn and Mable Hamilton Johnson; her sister, Jimmy Faye Neblett; her brothers-in-law Lonnie Gerald Boyd and Robert (Bob) Edward Neblett Sr.; and her niece, Connie Boyd Bailey.

She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Penn Earl Majors III, and their three sons and their spouses: Penn Earl Majors IV (Ashley); Justin Bradley Majors; and Adam Hamilton Majors (Allyce).

Mary was a loving and adoring "Grandmary" to four beloved grandchildren: Morgan Elizabeth Majors; Penn Earl Majors V; Charles (Charlie) Hamilton Majors; and Adaline Estelle Majors.

She is also survived by her sister, Carolyn Biedenharn Boyd; and her sister-in-law, Valerie Majors Box (Mike); along with many adoring nieces and nephews and her best friends who were more like her sisters.

Mary will be remembered by all that loved her for her selfless and generous spirit. She loved her family and friends and was loved equally by those around her.

Pallbearers are: Robert (Rob) Edward Neblett Jr.; Robert (Robsen) Edward Neblett III; Granger Cole Neblett; Garrett Reed Neblett; Gunner Patrick Neblett; and William Watkins Causey III.

Honorary Pallbearer: Jimmy (Jimbo) Leroy Neblett.
