Mary Lou Dillard passed away Tuesday morning, November 7th after battling a lingering illness, at the age of 93.
Mary Lou was born in Grove Springs, Missouri. She and Jim moved to Mississippi in 2006 after living most of their lives in Springfield, Missouri. Mary Lou was a kind and gentle soul who loved her family above and beyond all else. James and Mary Lou provided the family a great example of how to live an honest and loving life with 77 years of a loving marriage.
She is survived by her husband, James Warren Dillard; sister, Erma; sons, Jerry (Kim) and Bob (Susan); grandchildren, Anna, Amy, Alice, Amber, Tim and Joshua; and seven great-grandchildren, Mack, Emma, Chance, Cooper, Lily, Spencer and Sommer.
The family is eternally grateful for the support of her professional caregivers; Christi Bates, RN; Mischa Ambross, RN; Alice Rubinoff, RN; Constance Bowden, CNA; and Dr. Charles Crenshaw that all added to the quality of her life prior to her death.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, November 10, 2018 at The Way Church, 498 Northshore Pk, Brandon, MS 39047.
