Mary Agnes (Boone) Darling, passed peacefully on August 2, 2024 at Baptist Hospital in Jackson, MS, at the age of 91.  She was born June 30, 1933, to her parents, Walter Lee and Mary (Young) Boone.  She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, B. C. Darling; her daughter, Mary Almena Crane; a grandson, James Brunet; a son-in-law, Dale Fowler; sisters, Lucille Moore, Bessie Mae Pugh, and Bertie Lee Pierce; and brothers, Jack Boone, Henry Boone, Lewis Boone, and Morris Boone.

She is survived by her son, Jimmy Darling; daughters, Lynn Mansfield (Ron), Cathy Brunet (Ray), Patti Woods (Bill), and Sharon Fowler; sister, Louise Mosher; grandchildren, Sabrina Gay (Allan), Daniel Brunet (Jennifer), and Ashley Fowler; seven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Mary enjoyed listening to and singing country music while working a crossword puzzle.  She was especially close to her granddaughter Ashley, with whom she shared a special bond.

Visitation will be Friday, August 9, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home, 106 Cynthia Street, Clinton, MS  39056, with funeral service following at 2:00 PM.  Interment will be at Palestine Cemetery in Raymond, MS, following the service.
