Mary Frances Aston Daley, 82, of Jackson passed away Friday, January 21, 2022.

Mary was born January 1,1940 in Batesville, Ms. to the late James Hubert and Ruby Grace Aston. She married Edward Robert (Bob) Daley on September 7, 1958, and they made their home in Jackson, Ms. Mary and Bob were married for 55 years when he passed away in February of 2014. Bob always loved to make Mary laugh. Mary was a great homemaker, and had a great talent in baking Bob's favorite foods. One of her biggest passions was her love of reading.

Mary was a sales associate for Wilson's Department Store and went on to be the store manager of Service Merchandise. After Mary retired from sales in 2002, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister and brother-in-law, Letrice and Wes McIngvale, and her husband.

Mary is survived by her children, Kathryn Grace McElroy of Jackson, MS and Mary Teresa "Terri" Arnold of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Robert Adam McElroy, Brittany Peoples, Hannah Ooms, and Claire Arnold; great-grandchildren, Lillian McElroy, Emma McElroy, Olivia McElroy, and Cayden Harvey; and nephew, Jim McIngvale (Nancy).
