Mary Ann Bridges, age 79, passed away on March 9, 2025, at St. Dominic's Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi. Born on January 17, 1946, she was adopted at just one day old by Oubre and Mary Frances Boyd living in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. A proud alumna of Provine High School, Class of 1964, Mary Ann's aptitude for numbers led her to a successful career as a bookkeeper. She held significant roles at various organizations including Lowe's, The Catholic Diocese, and Mid-South Machinery where her skills greatly contributed to their operations. Diversifying her career, she became a nail artist and eventually the proud owner of House of Nails. Mary Ann was not only a career woman but also a creative soul. Her ability to build and decorate intricate Barbie dollhouses brought joy to many as she often sold or donated these to spread happiness. She had a love for secondhand shopping, restoring unique finds, and giving them a new life. Mostly, she loved the stories exchanged with her about her findings. She and her husband, Glynn, shared a love for travel, giving life to cherished memories together throughout their 29 year long relationship. More than anything her compassionate nature, beautiful smile, and great laughter will be missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Oubre and Mary Frances Boyd, and her son, Scotty Moore.

She is survived by her husband, Glynn Bridges; her daughter, Lisa Corleone; and her grandchildren Marissa Corleone, and Christopher Corleone, along with his wife, Kirby Hobley; and great-grandson, Howl Corleone.

Visitations will be held at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton, Mississippi, on Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and again on Friday, March 14, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow in the chapel, with interment at Clinton Cemetery.
