Mark Shaw Weathersby, 65, passed away peacefully in his home on November 8 ^th , 2022, with his brothers by his side. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend.

Mark is survived by his sister Celia, (Bill) Pendergrass, two brothers Tommy, (Susan) Weathersby and Robert Weathersby, friend and companion Phyllis Hargett Weathersby, and a handful of nieces and nephews. He is proceeded in death by his parents Edward and Frances Weathersby.

Mark was born on November 9 ^th , 1965, in Jackson, MS. He worked in various positions over the years all related to the Agricultural profession. He enjoyed the outdoors and sitting on his front porch overlooking the crop fields in front of his home. You could easily find him at Pelahatchie Bay eating a meal, catching up with friends, and of course having a cup of coffee. Mark had a dry sense of humor and a laugh that was contagious. He enjoyed attending as many tractors shows as he could and was enamored with old things and historic memorabilia. His family and friends were his life and at any gathering you could find him sitting around a table telling and reliving stories of his childhood and years gone by. Mark loved Jesus with all his heart and is now at the hands and feet of Jesus surrounded by his family who have passed before him.

A visitation will be held from 9:00 – 11:00 on November 14 ^th , 2022, at Wright and Ferguson Funeral home in Flowood MS with a service to follow. Afterward family and friends will proceed to Fannin Baptist church where Mark will be laid at his final resting place.
