Mark David Locke, 58, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2016 at his home. Visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Monday at Wright and Ferguson Funeral home in Clinton and 10:00am to 11:00am on Tuesday with Service following at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Pearl, MS.

Mark was born Feb. 26, 1958 in Chehalis, Washington to Robert and Eunice Locke who preceded him in death. He graduated from Washington State University with a Degree in Civil Engineering and had a P.E license. He moved to MS in 1985 and began his career with Grand Gulf Nuclear Plant, retiring in 2014. He met Wanda Martin in 1993 and they were married in 1994. In 2000 they were blessed with a daughter Alyssa Breanna. The family attends Pineview Baptist Church in Clinton. Mark loved to read and was an avid sports fan. He collected all kinds of baseball memorabilia, particularly the Seattle Mariners and loved watching the Seattle Seahawks, and the Washington State Cougars football team.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Wanda, his daughter Alyssa, brother-in-law Dwayne Martin (Susan) of Lagrange, KY, sister-in-law Lisa Martin of Raymond, MS, aunt Margaret Deskins of Chehalis, WA, grandmother Gladys Martin of Magee, MS, sister Diann Locke of Chehalis, WA, niece Kristen Martin of Lagrange, KY, nephew Matthew Martin (Jill) of Shelbyville, IN and great niece Ainsley Martin.
