Novie Marie Roberts, a resident of Pearl, MS passed away Thursday, November 9, 2023. Marie was born on July 1, 1947 in Philadelphia, MS.

She lived most of her adult life in Pearl where she raised her children and worked as a bank teller at Trustmark.

Marie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was also simply known as "Aunt Ree" to many. Her door was always open to family and friends.  She was quick to put on a pot of coffee or fix a glass of tea for anyone who stopped by for a visit, especially in her later years when her health kept her from getting out as much as she would have liked. She will be missed by many.

Marie is preceded in death by her parents, Hayes and Gladys Adcock; son, Mitchell Cloninger; daughter, Vicky Jo Roberts; and grandson, Jules Chustz.

She is survived by her husband, Bennie Roberts; daughters, Janice Creighton (Mike), Stacy Rodriguez (Earnest), Tammy Chustz (Jimmy), and Beverly Nipples (Kenny); grandchildren, Eric Corbello, Bailee Creighton, Evan Creighton (Melissa), Magen Welch(Tyler), Collin Cloninger, Hayden Cloninger, Robyn Dixon, Ryan Shelton, Danielle Bailey, McKenzie Bell, Cameron Bell, Chris Mickle, Jennifer Warren, Brandon Guidroz, Shainna Papcsy, Alex Chustz, Jessica Nipples, Brittany Nipples, and Callie Nipples; numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Tye Herrington; brother, Jerry Adcock (Connie); and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2pm – 4pm on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Flowood, and on Monday from 10am – 12pm. Services will be held at 12pm Monday in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
