Marian "Ree" Thomas Sessums went home to be with her lord and savior on July 13, 2022. She was born in Lena, MS on March 15, 1935. She was a member of Briarwood Presbyterian Church. She married the love of her life, Prease Herbert Sessums. They moved to Jackson, MS and they had 2 boys, Walter and Robert Sessums.

She was a hard worker and loving family person. She worked at KLH Industry in Clinton and then retired at Cellular South.

She is preceded in death by her husband and son Walter Sessums. She will be missed by her son Robert, daughter-in-law Lila Sessums and precious grandchild Molly Sessums.

Marian loved to cook and have lively conversations with her family, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 18, 2022 with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton, MS.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to her church, Wesley seminary, Little Lighthouse or charity of your choice.
