Margaret Ann Keough Collier, age 76, of Jackson, MS, passed away peacefully at her residence on February 26, 2025.  She was born on December 2, 1948, in Jackson, to the late Homer and Peggy Keough.  She is preceded in death by her brother, Richard Keough.  She is survived by her daughter, Amy Collier Heckman (Lee) of Griffin, GA; son, Tommy Collier (Jessica) of Sacramento, CA; grandson, Wyatt Collier of Jackson, step-granddaughter, Abby Benavidez of Sacramento, CA and step-grandson Eli Benavidez of Sacramento, CA.  She also leaves many family members who will dearly miss her.

Margaret was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Jackson.  She was an artist, teacher, and above all, loved spending time with her family.  She was a graduate of Murrah High School and Ole Miss and worked in several capacities at the MS School for the Deaf.  She loved painting, specifically in watercolor and had recently returned from a trip to France with some friends, colleagues and her daughter, Amy.  She was loved deeply and will be missed.  Her memory will live on and we can be eternally grateful that she is with her creator Jesus Christ in heaven.
