Lynn Tanner Lovell of Clinton passed away on Monday, March 2, 2020.
Lynn and her children settled in Clinton in 1972 where Lynn attended Mississippi College, graduating with honors. She had an established career as a paralegal specializing in employee benefits. Lynn was a devout Christian and a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Clinton, MS.
She loved to travel and was fortunate to do so in retirement enjoying a trip to the Kentucky Derby and an Alaska cruise.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, and friend to all, Lynn was adored by many and will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her three children: Leigh Ann Engibous (William) of The Woodlands, TX, Lisa Bergeron of Jackson, and Michael Lovell (Sherri) of Raymond.
She is also survived by six grandchildren and one great-grandson: Lisa Engibous of Baton Rouge, LA, Melinda Fewell of Raymond, Sarah Engibous of Houston, Claire Dixon of Oxford, MS, Emily Engibous of NYC, Elizabeth Engibous of Fayetteville, AR ,Will Fewell of Raymond, and Clarke Lovell, Pearl.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Captain Billy Earl Lovell, her parents, Hazel and Benjamin Tanner, of Jackson, her brother, John Tanner, of Tulsa, OK, her grandson, Mikey Lovell, of Clinton, and her great-grandson, Tanner Fewell, of Clinton.
There will be visitation on Thursday, March 5, 2020 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Wright and Ferguson in Clinton and a funeral service on Friday March 6, 2020 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Wright and Ferguson in Clinton. Burial will be in the Canton Cemetery.
