Lynda Marian Meeks, 69, of Utica, Mississippi and born in Jackson, passed away peacefully in the company of her family on February 8, 2026.

Lynda was employed by Goodwill Industries for more than 40 years, becoming the longest employed member of the staff in the history of the company.  She took immense pride in her job and enjoyed the education classes offered there.

She later became a beloved and enthusiastic client at The Abigayle Adult Day Center in Ridgeland where she inspired and gave hope to the other clients and the staff. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff there for filling her days there with activities, therapy and love.

She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her strength and determination, and the profound impact she made on everyone that knew her.

She was preceded in death by her mother Barbara Gelzer Fulton.

He is survived by her sisters, Dr. Lori Fulton and Lee Fulton, her brother Eric Fulton (Amber), and her nephews Andrew Fulton (Piper), and Samuel Fulton.

A celebration of life will be held in Raymond, Mississippi at Wright and Ferguson on Friday February 20 with visitation from 1-2 pm, service at 2 pm with inurnment to follow at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Raymond.
