Lu (Lurenna) Bonner, 87 of Clinton, Mississippi, went home to be with her Savior on Friday, October 2, 2015. Mrs. Bonner was born August 6, 1928, in Baltimore, Maryland. She later moved to Mississippi in 1963, where she lived the remainder of her life. She served for many years as a financial secretary for Woodland Hills Baptist Church and was presently a member of Grace Bible Church where she faithfully taught the Word of God in ladies' Sunday School. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by all that knew her.

Surviving are sons: Steve Bonner (Regina) of Clinton, MS and Mike Bonner (Jane) of Jackson, MS; daughter, Linda Mitchell (David) of Ridgeland, MS; grandson Aaron Bonner (Brittany), granddaughters: Amy Vernon, Emily Bonner, Danielle Bonner (Bryan Schroeder) and Lisa Marie Bonner and 5 great grand children.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday at Grace Bible Church with Bro. John Ward and Mike Bonner officiating. Interment will be in Lakewood Cemetery in Jackson, MS.

Visitation will be held from 4:00PM - 6:00PM at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton, MS (601-924-9308) and one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Friends of Alcoholics, PO Box 217, Flora, MS 39071 and/or Grace Bible Church, 380 Highland Colony Parkway, Ridgeland, MS 39157.
