Lulie Ruth Price Harvey of Memphis, TN, beloved to many, passed away after an extended illness on March 21, 2023. She will always be remembered for her love for her family, her friendship to many, her hospitality, her love for Dalmatians and her smile!

Lu was born to Joe and Alice Price on August 31, 1950. She grew up in Clinton, Mississippi, the middle of five children, and graduated from Clinton High School. After attending the University of Southern Mississippi she started a career in the insurance business. She eventually moved to Memphis, Tennessee where she and her husband both worked as insurance brokers and developed many close friends. During this time she was involved with the Alzheimer's Association and numerous other charities, as well as being on the board of the Memphis Employee Benefits Council.

Lu was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Alice Rivera. She is survived by her husband of 39 years Joel Harvey, step-daughter Kim Butler and her husband Jim, and granddaughter Molly Butler, all of whom she loved dearly. She is also survived by her brothers Joe (Judy) Price and Edwin (Pam) Price of Clinton, MS, her sister Lovisa (Jimmy) Stephenson of Madison, MS, many nieces and nephews, her cat Vesper and her dog Mugs. All who knew her will greatly miss her!

A graveside service will be held for Lu at noon on Saturday, March 25 at Clinton Cemetery in Clinton, MS. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to ALS Tennessee, PO Box 40244, Nashville, TN 37204 or online at
