Lori Hall Harvey, age 54, was welcomed into Heaven this morning after a long and courageous battle with cancer.  A Celebration of her life will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at Flowood Baptist Church in Flowood with visitation from 10:00am – 11:00am. Lori will be laid to rest at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl following the service.

Lori was born in Scott County, Mississippi to Ray and Jalane Hall. She graduated from Pearl High School and started her career as a radiologic technologist at Baptist Hospital.  Years later, she earned her RN degree from Hinds Community College in 2016 and accepted a position as a nurse at St. Dominic's Hospital.  She then went to work at Baptist Hospice and lastly, at Vital Caring Hospice.

Lori was an amazing mother, daughter, sister and friend. She enjoyed traveling to the mountains and beach, worshipping at church and caring for her patients and their families.  But most of all, she enjoyed spending time with family and her new grandson.

Lori is preceded in death by her husband, Tim Harvey; and grandparents, Kearney and Gertrude Hall and Beatrice and Harry Welsh.

She is survived by her son, Cole Harvey (Niki); grandson, Harper Cole Harvey; daughter, Kylee Harvey (fiancé, Aubrey); parents, Ray and Jalane Hall; sister, Jennifer Hall Barhonovich (Pete); and nephews, Peter and Nikolas Barhonovich; and fiancé, Scott Smythe.

The family would like to thank the staff of Vital Caring Hospice for their love and compassionate care of Lori during her illness.
