Lindsey Kemp
Noble
May 26, 1951 – December 16, 2025
Lindsey Kemp Noble, 74, of Edwards, MS, died peacefully on December 16, 2025.
Lindsey had many titles during her time on this earth, and she excelled at all of them. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Ronnie, for 42 years; a loving mother to her three children; and a beloved grandmother (Mimi) to her seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Lindsey was a devoted and respected educator who mentored thousands of students during her career, the largest portion of which was spent at Hillcrest Christian School.
Lindsey was a faithful member of Edwards Presbyterian Church and found much joy in serving others. Extremely talented in the kitchen, Lindsey regularly served friends, family, and people in need with her culinary talents.
Originally from Greenfield, TN, and the oldest of four siblings, Lindsey's family moved many times while her father worked for the Illinois Central Railroad. One of these stops was in Vicksburg, MS, where Lindsey met her future husband, making Mississippi her home.
Later in life, while balancing a home and three children, Lindsey returned to school and received her English degree from Mississippi College, then began her successful career as an educator.
Lindsey was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie, and her parents, Bob and Betty Kemp. She is survived by her daughter, Erin; sons, Sonny and Andrew (Blair); seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Jane Michael; brother, Sam Kemp (Deb); and sister, Camie (Greg).
Funeral services will be on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at Edwards Presbyterian Church at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will immediately follow at Edwards Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Edwards Cemetery.
