Decided to Fly High August 20, 2021
Lee C Thornton, 64, a retired Firefighter passed away August 20th, 2021 at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS.
Service will be held at Raymond Presbyterian Church in Raymond, MS on Tuesday August 24, 2021. Visitation will be from 10-11 am and the Funeral service will begin at 11.
Lee was a daddy, a PawCaw, a best friend and Son of the most high. He was faithful to everyone he knew but mostly to his Lord. He served his church and his community with a smile everyday. Despite being a firefighter for many years in Laredo TX he knew his biggest accomplishment was being a grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his father Carlton P. Thornton. He is survived by his mother, Flora Gordon Thornton of Raymond, daughter Jennifer Brundige of Raymond and granddaughter Julia Brundige of Raymond.
