Laura "Elaine" Ruddle Bridges, 78, of Clinton, MS, beloved wife and mother passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021, at her home in Clinton MS with family by her side.
She was born August 13, 1942 to Otis and Erma Ruddle in Fulton, KY. She was a graduate of South Side High School in Memphis, TN. She married Louis Bridges on June 6, 1959. They lived in Memphis, TN and South Haven, MS before settling in Clinton in 1977 where she worked as a receptionist at Daigle Insurance and the 4Cs in Clinton.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Lee Roy Ruddle. Her survivors include husband, Louis Bridges; sons, Greg (Laura) Bridges and Darin (Laura) Bridges all of Clinton; grandchildren Cotie Bridges of Cumming, GA; Mallory (Chris) Booty of Florence, MS; and Cody Majors of Yazoo City, MS; 5 great grandchildren; sister Roberta Tucker of Dixon, TN; brothers James Ruddle of Olive Branch, MS and David Ruddle of Irmo, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial service in Clinton and Internment of ashes in Fulton, KY will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wildwood Baptist Church in Clinton, MS.
