Kate H. Speed, 92, passed away on October 1, 2016. A visitation will be held on Monday, October 3, 2016 from 11 to 12 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton. Interment will be at Lakewood Memorial Park.

Kate was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Speed, her son Mike Leach, Sr. and her grandson Mike Leach, Jr.

Kate is survived by her daughters, Susan Speed and Kathy Fraiser; her daughter-in-law, Sandra Leach; 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. George Smith-Vaniz for all of the loving care he has provided throughout the years, to the wonderful staff on 2 South and her aide Rachel Edwards.
