Karen Denise Tedeton, at 50 years of age, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2019 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, Ms.

Karen was born in Monroe, LA on January 19, 1969 to the late Jessie Tedeton (Holland) and Oscar Tedeton, Sr. Karen was the seventh child born to Jessie and Oscar Tedeton. Karen was a kindhearted, generous, and devoted mother who worked hard to provide for her daughter, Jessica McIngvale. She was a fun-loving person who loved her grandson, Holden McIngvale, in a way that cannot be described. Karen was a person who loved life and never met a stranger. There was never a dull moment with Karen who was a jokester that made friends no matter where she went. Karen's friends and family will always remember her cheerful smile and infectious laugh that had the ability to brighten anyone's day. She was incredibly proud of her daughter and the person she grew to be.

Karen is survived by her daughter, Jessica (Tedeton) McIngvale (Haley), her grandson Holden McIngvale, her six sisters Lisa Norwood, Dewanna Jennings, Hazel Woods, Patricia Smith, Nora Wilmoth, Wanda Wilhite, and her brother Oscar Tedeton Jr., several nieces and nephews and her beloved grand puppy, Darla. Karen is preceded in death by her brother Calvin Tedeton.

A memorial will be held Saturday, February 9, 2019, 11:00AM at Jesus Name Tabernacle.
