Julia Lee Mann Boyd
She was an angel on earth and now she's one in heaven.

Julia Mann Boyd (62) passed away in her home on March 4, 2021 in Jackson, Mississippi due to complications following a 30-year struggle with Multiple Sclerosis.
Mrs. Boyd was born on Sept 27,1958 in Memphis, Tennessee to her parents, Homer and Lee Mann. Julia graduated from Mississippi State University in 1980 with a degree in Elementary Education. She married David K. Boyd, Jr. on December 20, 1980. The Boyds moved to Thousand Oaks, CA in 1995 where David worked until he retired in 2016 and they returned "home" to Mississippi in November 2020.
Julia was a supportive wife and a loving mother to both her children and many wonderful pets. She prided herself on creating a beautiful and happy home and enjoyed many lifelong friendships. She was loved and will be missed by many and remembered as "cute, tiny, beautiful and smart". David cared and loved her more than words can describe. Julia was surrounded by her family and close friends when she was healed and made whole and entered the gates of heaven to see her Lord, Jesus. She was a gracious beautiful soul.
Julia is survived by her husband; daughter and son-in-law, Haley Derrig (Michael) of Los Angeles, CA; her son, Austin Boyd of Austin, TX; her brother, Steve Mann of Tampa, FL; sister Mary Richardson (Steven) of Baton Rouge LA; her granddaughter, Bennett Derrig; and pets Toffee and Bella.
Her parents, Homer and Lee Mann and infant brother, Kenneth Dudley preceded her in death.
Visitation will be held at Wright and Ferguson Flowood on Monday, March 8, 2021 at 10:00 am with the service following at 11:00 am. Burial will be at Flora Hills Cemetery in Pearl, Mississippi. All are welcome to attend and celebrate her life.
