Judy Gayle Bishop Price, 74, went peacefully into the arms of Jesus on March 12, 2026, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center. Her life was a beautiful reflection of faith, perseverance, and deep love for her family.
Visitation will be held Monday, March 16, 2026, from 5:00–7:00 p.m. at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton. A second visitation will take place Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Clinton, with the funeral service beginning at 12:00 p.m. A graveside ceremony will follow at Clinton Cemetery.
Judy was born October 22, 1951, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to the late Ernest and Ruth Bishop. She was the first of two daughters and, at the young age of four, overcame a devastating stroke that impacted the rest of her life. Through every challenge, Judy carried herself with grace, determination, and a joyful spirit that inspired everyone who knew her.
She graduated from High School in Pensacola in 1969 and went on to earn a degree in English Education from Mississippi College in 1972. Judy taught high school English in Greenville, Mississippi before marrying the love of her life, Joe Price. Their marriage of 52 years was filled with devotion, laughter, and a shared commitment to family and faith. Together they built a loving home where Judy dedicated herself to raising their three daughters.
Judy was a faithful and active member of First Baptist Church in Clinton. Her radiant smile, gentle spirit, and unwavering positivity left a lasting impression on all who met her. Above all else, Judy loved the Lord and lived her life pointing others toward Christ.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Ernest and Ruth Bishop.
Judy is survived by her devoted husband, Joe Price Jr.; her sister, Linda Amore; and her daughters, Kristy (Evertt) McCullough, Amy (Jeremy) Bandre, and Joanna (Stephen) Bradford. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Preston (Hope), Paris, Landon Bradford, Makenna (Jonathan) Card, Logan, Michael, and David Bandre, as well as her precious great-grandchildren, Caine, KennaDee, Haddie Card, Stetson, and Jax Bradford. She is also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be: Logan, Michael, and David Bandre; Preston and Landon Bradford; and Jonathan Card.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to First Baptist Church Clinton to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering to support national missionaries.

Judy's life was a testimony of faith, love, and perseverance. Her legacy lives on in the family she cherished, the lives she touched, and the hope she shared with everyone she met.
